The day I opened my door and saw the two of you ~ standing there with a big blue blanket with the sweetest little white head, wearing a big red ribbon, peeking out ~ was one of the most memorable and happiest in all my life! Man, was I surprised! What a wonderful birthday gift! Jas sure knows how to give presents. About 2 years before for Christmas, I got my other bulldog, Christmas Belle (who we just call Belle). Some girls get diamonds. I get bulldogs. Anyone have a diamond that makes them laugh??? Anyway, Turbo and Belle, have become great friends and love to wrestle, and play and even on rare occasions snuggle. My daughter Sammy loves the baby bulldog and takes him with her everywhere. She has even taught him to go down a slide! Can't say that he likes that so much, but he is a pretty mellow fellow, so he does happily. It is a funny sight!
Turbo has a thing for shoes, and doesn't seem to care if you are still wearing them. If Turbo decides that it is his flip flop, and it is on your foot, well, you will soon find your self down a flop, because it is now his. We have found that he does chew on them a little, but really only gives to Belle, who was once found with 7 shoes in her bed.
When I first got Creeble's Turbo the Wonder Dog, he was about 9 or 10 lbs. He is now a nicely rounded 31. I am pretty convinced it is all muscle. (I wear heavy flip flops!) Jas thinks it is fat or something. He is a wonderful addition to our family. He has been involved in charity work, and recently participated in the Paws and Claws pet walk with Belle and Samantha. That was a lot of fun. He has learned some basic commands. Walks great on a leash. He is smart as a whip, although a bit stubborn at times, but aren't we all.
I want to thank you, Liz and Chuck. I know that you put a lot of hard work, and went out of your way to make my birthday special. I appreciate it more than you will ever know. You are wonderful people. Turbo is the sweetest little boy ever. Thanks so much. Laura
